I used WIN RAR to unpack 25 rar files. No problem there.
Those files unpacked to a .bin and .cue file. How do I unpack or extract these two files at this point? WIN RAR will not unpack the .bin file. What is the cue file for? Thank you.

The .cue file is a Nero CD image file. You can burn it directly to CD with Nero. The .bin file is along the same lines if I remember correctly... to extract these files, use Win ISO... I believe it will work on .cue files as well.

I found an app called "isobuster" that worked really well for this.

you can use magiciso iso creator to extract files from .cue files. I always use it to extract .cue files.

WinISO converts the BIN to ISO, so no reason for the CUE then, but i prefer using IsoBuster :)

I use isobuster all the time to unpack the iso files. Workes like a charm.

You can also simply use the DAEMON Tools program to mount your .ISO image and then simply copy the files from the virtual CD like it was a real CD drive.
I use this method and also use UltraISO; it's the best program for .ISO, .BIN, .CUE files and everything which relates to those. If it's extracting, editing or creating an .ISO or .BIN/.CUE files.

ISOBuster is also good, but doesn't have so many options.

The CUE file only contains the block size, but you should use it for the CD (ISO/BIN files) to mount properly or to burn the disk.

There's also the other formats .mdf and .mds which are of the Alcohol program. I use Alcohol 120%, but you can mount them with no problem with DAEMON Tools again.

And there's also a CloneCD format wich is .CCD. But I don't use those.

So for summing up, use DAEMON Tools. There's nothing more to say.
