Got my company to finally take a look at switching to AD and migrate to a domain.
First quote for 45 locations: $114,000 excluding purchase of SMS2003 and traveling. This is over the course of 2 years.
The best part is that before this quote came in, I said it would take 2 years to do and the cost would run about $100k if we did it in house, plus expenses for the project.
Probably looking at around $200k with a consulting firm doing it for us which is cool. I'll be racking up the frequent flyer miles again.
