Anyone using a Motorola 6200 STB for HD ??? Are there any "tunable"
parameters for this thing other than the basic menu for setting Captioning
and 4:3 override?

Do you mean "secret" service menus? Not that I know of. Although, if you
find one, let me know. I hate the limited 4:3 override modes it offers. I
wish it had a "smart stretch" type of mode.

TIP: I had this box for about six months. If you power off the box and
hold down GUIDE and INFO an advanced menu will come up. Using this you
can select 480i or 480p output for non-HD content. I believe the
default setting is 480p which forces black bars on the left and right
sides. If you change to 480i you will be able to use the zoom/stretch
modes of your HDTV for all non-HD content.
