Hi,
I bought the Swiftech h20 120 kit, along with another radiator. Apogee Gt, 350 pump, 2 x 120mm radiators, micro-res.

The watercooling has not decreased my temperatures by much, only by about 5c at load.

Ive tried reseating the apogee, using arctic silver instead of ceramique, but it still doesnt lower my temps.
Using format from the c2d temp guide(readings from speedfan)
Tcase = 37 Idle & 52 Load
Tjunction = 40 Idle & 55 Load
Ambient = 23 Room Temp
Chipset = P965
C2D = e6400
CPU Cooler = Listed
Frequency = 3.2, (400x8)
Load = Orthos, Small Test, Test Program
Motherboard = Asus Commando
Vcore = 1.35

Is there anything I can do to lower the temps? Also, 1.35 is the lowest vCore i can get without getting a blue screen. I think the problem is somehow related to switching to vista.(bad decision)

Anyways, i would really appreciate any help. I just dont want to feel like i wasted $200 for the same performace as before (before=Scythe Inifity)

Thanks

While I doubt Vista is the source of your woes, the rule with Microsoft is:

MS OS pre-SP1 = BAD IDEA

What's the ambient temperature of your room?

Can you measure the water temperature at the heat exchanger?
How would i do that? can you suggest a way for me to measure the temps?

I doubt Vista is the source of your woes
Vista isnt affecting my temps, its just that for some reason, i need a higher vcore in Vista than in XP. For example, vcore 1.3 xp=stable orthos for 8 hrs. vcore 1.3 vista= blue screens while using internet.
