Finding your printer on windows8

Hi I have just bought a new computer and it has windows 8 on it , when the computer was set up the printer was located but since then if I want to print something where do I find properties that will allow me to print something.

brother it totaly depends on the document of file you are printing for text type you should use some kind of editor like Ms word or notepad they provide a easy and convinient method to print the documents but if you are willing to print images then you can open them simply in paint and print them or just simply open them and press "CTRL+P" to start printing

Ensure your Printer is selected as default.
Hold down Winkey, press X
Choose Control Panel then View Devices and Printers

Right click your Printer Icon and select as Default

Hey Clive,
Is Windows 8 version of your printer are installed on your laptop???
If no then download them
If yes then
Go To control panel>View devices and printers>chose ur printer as default
ant then try....
Dosent works?
