though remember mucking about with the boot manager could make it unbootable if you do something wrong--if its not stopping you booting you could just leave it as it is--if its saying wait 30 seconds etc you can alter that to 1 second or maybe even remove windows xp setup if its also listed by right clicking my computer--properties--advanced system settings--start up and recovery settings

A simpler way is to use easybcd which is free to try.
