Hi,
I've had Windows 2000 (with all the updates) on my system for about 4 years and it seems somewhat arthritic so I am planning on doing a clean reinstall of it and my major software. Before I do so I am wondering if there are any compelling reasons to upgrade to Windows XP Pro. I’ve noticed that some of the recent games recommend Windows XP though I assume they will play on a Windows 2000 OS.

PC:
1Ghz Athlon
1.5Gb ram
28Gb mirrored RAID HDs
98Gb mirrored RAID HDs

I tried to hold out for the longest with Windows 2000, but when _microsoft_ Age of Empire 3 came out i had to upgrade because it refused w2k. Its a conspiracy i tell you. oh wait a minute...
