I donno whether it should post it here or not? Forgive me if i wrong.
My situation here is i try to monitor my CPU temp after i OCing it, i used speedfan normally. But recentlly i notice that another freeware called PC wizard 2007 also a good choice so i tried it. The problem is the PC wizard 2007 show different temp compare to speedfan CPU core temp although the speed fan also show two temp of "core temp" and "temp 1". The wizard only show one cpu temp reading( same as temp1 in speedfan). The reading of PC wizard 2007 is very steady around 38 when idle, but 39 when load. While speedfan change rapidly from 38 idle to 40-50+ when load for the core temp but same 38 idle/39load for temp1 ( which i believe also indicate CPU temp). So which 1 i should refer ?

My spec :
AMD X2 4200+ @ 2.7+GHz (soc 939)
ASUS Nforce4 SLI
2GB RAM
Nvidia 6600GT

I would use the Asus application if i were you. If you cant or whatever speedfan is the one to trust the one that goes 49-50 is the real tempature cause no way are you running 2.7ghz and getting 39c.

Just keep in mind software based apps are never accurate 100%. Asus is your best choice cause they built the board.
