i used to know that supertalent ddr2 800 c4 was the best performer at its own class, but since it used different chipset, it lose performance on overclocking section.

so i want to know what brand and type is the best performance ddr2 800 at the moment?

thanks in advance :)

Patriot extreme is the best ram out right now but if i where you i would go with patriot extreme 8500 its only 199.99 after rebate 8O

thanks, but the link you certified is for ddr2 1066.

i just need ddr2 800 which can be overclocked to ddr2 1066 4-4-4-xx 2t up to 2.4v, or overclocked up to ddr2 1200 5-5-5-xx up to 2.4v. :p

I think thats a little picky, The only ram that i can think of that will do what you request is this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145165 and for that price i would recommend something like this.

Will run at 4-4-4-9.

Just so you know if your mobo supports ddr2 800 it will support ddr2 1000

i use abit ab9-quadgt now and yes it supports ddr2 800 and can run ddr2 1000. tested with the old (cheaper and the best performance in its time) supertalent ddr2 800 4-4-3-8 1.8v and overclocked it to ddr2 1000 4-4-4-12 2.35v.

i'm using micron chipset from the old supertalent t667ub1gc for the moment. :)

unfortunately, the supertalent memory didn't use d9 micron chipset again. the new supertalent ddr2 800 can be overclocked maximum at ddr2 900 with 4-4-4-12 timing. :( that's why i'm looking for another substitution to the old king.

thanks for helping me with links. i really appreciate it. the mushkin looks really promising but still the price is way too high for me.

thanks you so much for the support here :)

final thought, i choose to stick with my current ram because it still can reach ddr2 1000 with 5-5-5-15 timing, the same with patriot extreme ddr2 800 ability.
