Configured MESSAGING SW on PPC via wireless (WiFI) through my home router).
POP3 incoming works fine, however SMTP (outgoing) does not work. Error
messages talks about missing wirless coverage or problem with the server
settings.
Its certainly not a coverage problem (since receiving e-mail works just
fine) and I checked the settings several times. I also used my default SMTP
server which does not need any authentication, and a company SMTP server
with my credentials (works just fine with outlook on PC [wirelss and
wired]).
Any logfiles I could check? Any other know issues in this area?

Have you entered anything in the Domain field? If you have try leaving it
blank.
Is the box checked for "Outgoing e-mail server requires authentication"? It
is worth a try to just see if needs it for some reason.
Is the box checked for "Require SSL connection"? Same as above, worth a try.
Not too much help but who knows.
