Fax configuring?

My computer keeps trying to configure the fax, although it's been
removed from as a Windows component. I have broadband and cannot
configure a fax, but it keeps trying. What's up?

Did you physically remove it from the computer or just
disable it ?

Disabled it in the Windows component section...

Also removed the modem in System.....Have broadband cable for Internet.
