I have a P4 630 LGA775 3.0GHz cpu on a ABIT AA8XE MB in an AeroCool Spiral galaxies case under a Scythe Bear cpu cooler. My readings are as follows:
CPU FREQ: 3825MHz
EXT. CLOCK: 255MHz
VCORE:1.4125v
NBV: 1.50v
CPU RATIO: 15.0x
DDR2v: 1.80v
IDLE TEMP: 28c
LOAD: 42c (2hrs. on mem test)

What should my next step be in my search for the 4GHz + mark? Voltage and bumping up the ext. clock? What are your suggestions for me.
It has been rock solid at this setting for 3 weeks and I am ready to move up.
Basically I am wondering if I have been doing this right( Iguess so since it is still running...LOL) and if I can continue my quest with a completley air cooled system?

i think u will also need to up NB voltage and ya u should bump up Vcore too.. hey i have a P 4 631 but what actually is the diff. between 630 and 631

The 630 is a Prescott core(90nm), and the 631 is a Cedar Mill core(65nm). The 631 will run much cooler, use less power, and overclock a lot better. You should get ~4GHz with the 630, whereas 4.4-4.6GHz is attainable with a good mobo/RAM/cooling with the 631.
