Hard Drive Help!

Im sure my Harddrive is a SATA 150 can this work with a SATA 300 port in a motherboard?

It should be backwards compatible -- the motherboard, that is. The only time you have a problem is the other way around -- a SATA 300 on a SATA150 (motherboard) port. Then you have to set a jumper.

Go for it.You should have no problem running it on that board.If it was the other way around,then you would have to set a jumper on the harddrive so it would run at 150.Have fun.

well im sure my HDD is 3GBs but it might not be because it was stocked with a 1.5gbs mobo. But ill go for it.
