I'm using C2D E6400 @ 2670(333 x 8) on ASUS P5B-E Mainboard.(Bios V 1102)
I'm using Asus silentsqure Cpu cooler and,my case temp is OK.
SpeedFan shows CPU Temp as 26C and Core 0 & 1 temp as 35C/34C Idle
But Intel TAT program shows Core 0 and Core 1 temp as 48C/50C Idle
According to C2D Temp guide at toms hardware, CPU temp is always 15C less than Core0 & Core 1 temp.It mean if your Core 0 & Core 1 temp is 48C/50C your CPU temp should be 34C.But my BIOS menu show CPU temp as 26C. But my TAT show core0 & core 1 temp as 48/50C.It mean there should be something wrong ?
I want to know Which shows correct core 0 & 1 temp?(TAT or SpeedFan 4.32)
If TAT shows the correct temp do i have to worry about my CPU temp?(I mean is my temp is too HIGH??)
