Hey guys

I wanted to know the MAX wireless speed of the M1424-WR router but couldnt find a definitive answer when researching it on google.

in articles, it says the router was built to be able to work up to 100 mbps... but doesnt get into detail.

does anybody know the max wireless and wired speed of this router? is it 54 mbps or 108 mbps? i know the router uses the 802.11g spec for wireless which is 54 but the "can work up to 100 mbps" throws me off.

I'm basically trying to figure out if I should be getting 108 mbps locally with my new wireless netgear card or 54 mbps is what I should be getting for this router?

thanks guys!

Your router is capable of up to 54Mbps on the wireless network, standard 802.11g.

The 100Mbps spec is in reference to the wired network. That router claims to be able to support numerous high bandwidth streams simultaneously, including an apparent claim of 100Mbps WAN to LAN throughput. To make use of all of this performance, though, you'd need your high bandwidth devices (e.g. video streams) to be on the wired network.
