I have got myself a DVB card to record programs, but I have to keep on turning on & off my pc to record programs. Although my card supports ACPI auto turn on, my ASUS A8N-SLI does not support the S5 power on option so I can not use it, therefore I am looking for a software alternaltive.
Does anyone know if there is any software available that will let you turn the pc on (& launch a program or two) for a certain number of hours and then turn it off again, according to a weekly schedule?
I have looked on the internet and cannot find any programs that will switch a pc on, is there a particular reason for this?
