A few days ago I formatted and partitioned the hard drive on my Aunt's Dell laptop. During the reinstallation of Windows and thereafter, the screen has been smaller. I cannot make the display take up the whole screen. I also cannot change the resolution or color depth bit rate. I've installed ATI drivers , although it still does not see the card in device manager. Is there something I've missed to get the display to go back to fullscreen?

Lower the resolution.

It's at 640x480, I can't go any lower, and it won't let me go any higher.

If it won't let you go any higher, try reinstalling the vid driver.
