SATA 1.5Gbit/s cable question

i am going to buy another WD 160Gig SATA II drive, but i need a cable...
so would a SATA 1.5Gb/s cable work ok? or could it somehow casue problems?

i need to know sorta soon cuz i gotta make to order by noon today

It'll work I think, albeit some might say you'll make SATA II hadisk of yours transfer data slower than it should, plus you have to set your hdisk to SATA I mode. But hey, I've read too many articles debating the performance between this to speed and my conclusion is: almost no difference

Edit: Why don't you just buy the cable :?:

This is exactly the reason why people should not refer to "SATA II" or "SATA I". There is no such thing.

SATA is SATA. It's all the same specification. It's only a matter of which features a particular SATA device implements (3Gb/sec, NCQ, Hot Swap, eSATA compliance, etc.). All cables are the same. All interfaces are the same.

Yes, any SATA cable will work with any SATA drive, because they are both a component of one specification - SATA.
