i just instaled of windos xp media center 05 on a computer that had windows 2000 pro. but wen i start it up it goes thru BIOS fine then shoes a status bar that fills all trhe way but then freezes. iknow its not the hard drive because wen i put it into anothe pc it does fine. P¡¡¡ 180 mb ram 7.5 gb hard drive :evil: plz help!!!:D

Man, you sure are bad side of a marginally competent system for Windows Media Center, based on the parts you are using.

Although you didn't say nothing about your video graphics card, I bet that you that it is the problem. WMCE requires a video card that supports DirectX 9.0. And, you must have .Net framework installed.
