BTW, I'm always amazed by the need to post a question here about finding a link for how to do something, when it would probably be a hell of a lot faster by typing in a Yahoo! search (like I did) with the string "how to network 2 pc with a crossover cable"

Especially from the world-reknowned THGC members.

Why do you think I got into this forum?

Anybody can search Yahoo or Google but the reassurance of getting the link from a THGC member is like getting an autograph with the recommendation.

Please, you guys did right by me, do right by the others.
I may be a bit naive but a lot of these new posters are probably newbies from the get go. I learned about tomshardware.com through my brother and that's only 'cause I bugged him enough about noob questions. I admit, I get questions repeated all over again but from different people.

You gonna just shut down someone because he didn't read your post from 1997? Face it people, the human race is a lazy MOFO. That's why we have INTERNET. The exchange of information.PERIOD.

Ditto on HolyShiznit.

Next time suck it up and give him a productive answer.

PAX et BONUM everyone!!!!
