2 days ago I loaded Win 2000 Sever on my Gateway Solo 9300 Laptop. Everything went smooth except 2 annoying event error 7000 ATI video messages in my event log. The messages also kept popping up in my Service Control Manager while booting up. Basicly to fix it I went to registry using regedit32 and deleted the 2 entries here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\xxxx

xxxx = the suspected entries giving me probs.

Hoprfully this can help someone with a similiar problem. It was very fustrating for me.
