Hi, I have recently upgraded from Windows 98 se to Windows XP service pack 1. My machine has a PIII 667 and 512mb PC133 ram. Its all working excellently. However from a cold boot up now the system decides to run the NVRAM checking from zero to 524.......kb, this takes about 1 min which is annoying. (it doesn't do this if you just restart the machine) If you press escape it defaults past the check to 524......and carrys on which is okay. I've looked all over the web and cannot find the solution to have it come straight up at 524.......I've looked in the set up screens and cant see it either.....does anyone know which setting this would be please? Thanks alot.
