I was looking for the latest amd roadmap for amd sockets

I got screwed buying a 939 figuring it would last for awhile.then am2 came out

Any links to the newest roadmap on sockets. Wanting to upgrade to a new mobo and processor and i dont want my mobo socket to be obsolete in a year

I got my 939 system KNOWING AM2 was the next step in 2-3 months but I just had to get it by that time.However, I did this assuming for some time there would be an AM2/939 duality like the 939/754; there were a lot of 'Palermo' Semprons and 'Venice' Athlon 64s after the 939 had been released But immediately after the AM2 release, they published the new roadmaps with the 939 ending just there; only 2 years for a socket, and even if tehy had to switch to AM2, at least they could have ported some 90 nm chips like the 5000+, 5200+, 5400+ etc, to 939 :evil:
