I know there are guides out there to do the overclocking, but i wanna be more certain with what i am doing so don't yell at me! Alright I will start this with posting my specs.

Processor: Intel Core2 Duo E6600 @ 2.4GHz

Motherboard: Asus P5W DH-Deluxe

RAM: 1GB Corsair XMS2 6400 800MHz - Timings 4-4-4-12 (I ordered another pair for Gig, so I'll have 2 GB when I overclock).

Hard Drive: 300 GB Western Digital @ 7200 RPM - 16 MB cache.

Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS 256 MB (Can't wait for the new ATI DX 10 =P)

Those were my computer specs now, I only want to overclock it to 3.0GHz with 1:1 ratio. The things I want to know is what my voltage should be set for the vcore and all that stuff, and the FSB and the RAM MHz. Also which cooler I should use to keep the temperatures low on my processor.

Enter BIOS>Advanced>AI Overclocking enter
Change from Auto to Overclock Profile, go to Overclock Options - change it from 5% to 25%, press ESC, Save and exit, Restart.

You should now be running at 3.0 Ghz.

If you change it to 30%Overclock, it will run around 3.12Ghz.

Thats all there is to it!

Cheers :D
