ok i'm sure u have all heard this problem before. iTunes 6.0.2 won't open. Here is my problem exactly. I double click on the iTunes icon. In my Windows Task Manager, under Processes, i can see iTunes.exe for about a second. It appears in the list and then it dissappears. Its like something its shutting it down everytime it starts. The only way i can get it to open is to uninstall, restart computer, and then install it again, then it will open for that period. Once i shut down or restart the computer, it will become unopenable again. At first, i thought i could get rid of this problem simply by reformatting hd and reinstalling XP and reinstall iTunes. Well that worked for a few days, and now the same problem has come back to hunt me again.
I've looked on the iTunes support page but all the only fix i could find was to delete that one file in the iTunes application folder. well, needless to say, that didn't work. I've also tried right clicking on the iTunes icon and do the Run As option, well that didn't work eaither.

so anyone have any fixes??
Thanks in advance for any tips/ideas.

btw, i dont have a anti-spyware program installed, i only have microsoft anti-spyware beta.
