i have a screen saver called solar winds and for some reason starting today its runs super slow like it is lagging or something. I have win xp pro 64bit
1gb of memory
amd 4000+
i have a nice system but for some reason starting today the screen saver plays slow i looked in my task manager and nothing is takeing a bit amount of memory so im not sure what it is please help

It might be this little thing that really sucks: spyware. However, if your computer seems to be running fine in general, then the screen saver settings might have accidentally been changed. If this doesn't works just change your dadgum screen saver, it doesn't really matter what you have.
