Anyone who can help it would be most appreciated.

Have a machine at hom which im trying to do a dual boot Windows XP and Red Hat Enterprise 3. When I run the set up, it says no hard drives were detected. Its a dell dimension 4700. I have tried to find info on this issue but to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

Are your drives PATA or SATA?

I suspect your HDD may be SATA and the kernel does not recognize your SATA controller.

Please post your complete hardware specs.

Thanks!
