I have read the manual and I don't believe I can close ports in the router/modem. I have an Alcatel Speed Touch Pro 4 port ADSL router.

From what I understand NAT is what I need to be doing although whenever I create a new protocol I believe this is dealing with incoming requests not outgoing.

I need to block outgoing request on ### port...anyone done this?

i dont know of any home router that can do it. i bet you can find a program that will stop the ports at the pc though.
