THe MB CD will have Vista drivers for sound, try loading those. Also, the MB online product page will have updtaed sound drivers for Vista and possibly Windows 7 even though the MB was released before Windows 7 came on the scene. If Vista drivers do not solve the problem, a third party sound card with Windows 7/Vista driver support may be the solution.

try updating the driver... its probably a realtek ___ (perhaps ac97).
Double check that the speakers are all plugged in
& that nothing is muted in the sound mixer (found in the bottom right corner of the display)

i have tried both window vista as well as winxp drivers for my sound drivers from my mb cd. window 7 is identifying only 2 speakers. what to do next. help please. I am using 4 in one creative speakers.
