Been looking at graphics cards over the past few days. Wondering which one to get (or even to wait for the new radeon dx10 cards)

My specs. E6600 processor with intel 975x chipset, 4gb ram and a 520W corsair psu, everything is very cool. its housed in a antec 900 and heat is not a problem.

<£200 any ideas?

Also i was wondering the difference between GDDR3 and GDDR4?

if you are in for a high end card, wait for the new ATi and the upgraded 8800gtx. Both will be blazing fast and use GDDR4 wich is faster than GDDR3 ofcourse.

if you want a fast card for a decent price get the 8800gts 320mb (or 640mb for a little price premium)

as good as you psu is, i dont think it will be able to run the newer ATI cards if the power speculation is right.

so currently your best bet would be the 8800 gts.

No i think your PSU shoud be alright if a 3 rail PSU with a 18a load on a 12v rail can't power a single card , then things would be going down hill pretty fast
