Anyone been able (with any driver) been able to run an Intel G965 X3000 on board graphics at a resolution of 1680 x 1050?

i do at work everyday... because its my work computer, i can't game on it so can't give any kind of them results

It's a registry hack (technically a .INF file hack)

but it might be a lot of trial and error. Can you find a working Linux Modeline or Powerstrip settings for your monitor, even using Nvidia or ATI? That will simplify things.
