hi all. ive got a strange problem with my connection. we have 2 pcs at home connected to the net through a D-link DI 504 router. my housemate computer cannot connect to hotmail, caramail and other mail services. i think its a https problem... anything using TLS, SSL just screw up. however everything else works fine. i opened the port 443 on the router but it didnt change anything.
i tried using firefox and IE too...same thing

the only way he can connect to the internet is by bypassing the router and plugging straight into the modem. Do somebody have an idea what might be going on?

last time i formatted his computer and reinstalled everything it was working for one day, we could connect to hotmail etc and then we had the same problem again without changing anything to the pc/router settings ...
its very strange and i never came upon this before...

hes running windows XP sp1. the firewall is Sygate.
does someone has an idea?
