Recently i have been getting quite a few errors with EQ2...and as of today errors with Windows as well. my eq2 errors have been:

"eq2client has encountered a problem and needs to close "

"Launchpad has encountered a problem and needs to close"

the windows errors i just started getting today are :

Microsoft Management Console has encountered a problem and needs to close" <--- this happens every time i try to access Device Manager.

Also getting random reboots. and i got some error about Doctor Wattson....?

i am running:

Abit AV8
1gig DDR 400 (2 512mb sticks DIMM 1 and DIMM 2)
170gig HD
nVidia Geforce 6800.

Any suggestions would be very helpful...i'm currently looking at my Memory....

Try to reinstall launch pad and make sure you have the most current version. If that doesn't do it reinstall Everquest.

You said the problem was initially with launch pad so that's where I would start.
