I have been accessing the PDM interface on my PIX for at least 2 years. I updated to IE 7 when it came out several months ago. I was able to access the PDM until today when I received this message:

"name of the site does not match the name on the certificate"

This was after I accepted the certificate. When it asks me "Do you want to proceed?" and I click 'yes', nothing happens. It sits at the page that I normally see right before the PDM loads with the hour glass going but it never opens. Any ideas on what is going on and how I can get back in?

If it is hopeless and I have to telnet in, how do I add an IP address that I want to be allowed out through the firewall?

I've read alot of other places that certian versions of Java won't load the PDM correctly.


Which version of PDM are you running?

What you could do is try rolling back to an older version of java or updating to the latest version.


See if this works and let me know how it goes. :D

I'm back in! I went to add/remove programs and uninstalled the most recent JAVA update and that worked. Thank you so much!
