I wonder if the pci-e version will be supperior to the pci version?
Even if its not "superior" the idea that you can finally have a mid-to-high-end dedicated audio card that is not tied to the aged PCI-bus or one manufacturer's proprietary interface AND that offers "FULL" Vista performance should prove quite attractive in the enthusiast market.
Perhaps the Xonar will assist in motivating Creative to step up to the plate with a PCI-E solution as well as a soundcard with "FULL" Vista support. They'll get there...one day.
