I currently have a Netgear WGR614v2 wireless router and I am experiencing frequent dropouts which I believe are caused by overheating.

The dropouts seem to occur mainly when both of my computers are connected (wirelessly) to the router and particularly during intensive operations eg internet gaming, using P2P, Gamespy Arcade.

Can anyone recommend any wireless routers that do not dropout?

Use a External AP, then you don't have the heat in with all of the wired gear.
