Hi
A MyPictures folder keeps appearing even after i delete it. I keep my
pictures in a different file so I don't want this one. Can anyone tell me how
to get rid of it permanently?

If you feel comfortable with messing with the registry then try this...
run regedit and goto
HKEY_Current_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
ad the following DWORD
NoShowMyPictures with a value of 1
Then delete the directory and reboot. This should get rid of it.

P.S. Oh back up the registry before doing this. Just for safty.

Hmmm.... I should say delete the MyPictures folder not the registry
directory. I think you most likely understood but just in case. =)
