New Computer checklist

(I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but I didn't see any General section that also wasn't specific (overclocking, motherboard, etc.))

I decided to post a checklist here for deciding when to buy a new computer, so I can get advice if I've forgotten anything.

1. Vista Service Pack 1 released (too many problems with Vista, currently, but I want DirectX10 with a new system)
2. AMD/ATI DirectX10 video cards released (I haven't picked a video card yet, but this will at least cause price reductions)
3. PCIe 2.0 released (I don't want to get a PCIe motherboard if PCIe 2.0 is just around the corner)

After reading the SupCom & Intel Core 2 Quad processor article, with the reference to future games being released with multi-core support, I've decided my next computer will have a quad core processor.

At this point in time, I've chosen AVA Direct as the vendor I will buy from.

I will also make my system a dual-boot XP Pro/Vista Ultimate, for the older games that just don't play well with Vista.

Can anyone think of anything else I should add to my checklist?
