is it posible to install vmware and through that install linux, and use my wireless card through vmware?

using a laptop - dell c610 with a pcmcia dlink g630

As long as the wireless network card drivers are installed on the host O/S (Guessing windows), then the VMWare Guest O/S will be able to use the connection through a bridged network link.
