I'm working on a security system, and i need to know any possible way of resetting a bios password, clearing the cmos, clearing an mbr, deleting any required boot files from within windows. If anyone has any knowledge on these subjects please share. The more you know the more you can block.

If you have the MOBO manual, it should tell you what jumper to short out in order to clear any bios passwords. Usually, you will need to set the jumper and boot your PC and follow the prompts. Set the jumper back to it's original location and reboot. that's it!

As far as clearing your harddrive from any boot files, why not just format?

Good luck!
