I'm checking out Google Groups since my current free newsserver has
proven to be slow and unreliable.

How do I get a signature on this thing?

Don't think you can. Not sure, though.

Sure you can! You can do it like we did in the old days! Type it out!
Back then, we didn't have automatic .sigs, we had to type each one by hand.
You youngsters take things for granted. Why, back in my day, we only had a
600 baud upload... both ways!

The worst crime you can commit against another human is to make them think.

You may want to check htp://www.GamesKB.com instead. It is easier to use than
GG and it allows adding signatures.

Some of us still do.

Ha! You had 600? I remember 300! And it was one way! Had ta signal
if ya wanned ta switch from uploadin' to downloadin' or vica versa - and
'cause it only WAS one way, yas had ta stop and wait every so often an'
see if the other side had somethin' ta say. That made it even slower.

An' anudder t'ing, I remember when ya had to dial inta tha same BBS
everyone else was usin', and hope the lines weren't full up. And that
it hadn't been raided. Ayup, I remember back when the government was
so clueless, it thought game companies were terrorists. What was the
case name? US Secret Service vs. Steve Jackson Games, or somethin'?
