Problems with TV card software

Hello:
I've recently got a tv card model Instant tv dvs-s PCI Ads Tech to use it in my PC. I've been trying to use the software contained in the installation Cd, but I just don't get any channel signal, so I can see nothing. I also tried with a software named MiTheatre or MyTheatre and it's also been helpless. So if someone knows where I can download the crack of any software that makes the kind of card I'm using work properly or either what I can do (a plugin to install maybe) to use MyTheatre, I would really appreciate any help. Are you using cable tv or antenna?
If cable, is the signal quality good on that line. Try a regular tv on it to check.
If its antenna then you may not be getting a good enough signal for the card to recognize.
