Can someone please tell me the difference between these two models? I
have a 65" widescreen Mistubishi Diamond series about 3 years old and
would love to take advantage of the HD capabilities. I like the
features of the 160 but really can't afford it. The 360 is more in my
price range.
I have DirecTV service, but want to grab OTA HD signals as well. I
have a 5.1 sound system that works great. This is really the last
piece. Please pont me in the right direction.

Thanks for any advice

Avoid the 360 like the plague! It has major audio problems.
Directv is replacing them upon request because they have had
so many problems. I have a Sony HD200 and like it very much.
I also have a 360 which is being replaced as we speak.

I have had the TS360 for about 3 months now with no problems (so far).
What kind of problems have been reported with this unit? Just trying
to get some idea of what to expect.

I've had a 160 now for 2 years.. I love it. The 10.1 software has
been very solid. Menu speed is good, lots of outputs, simultaneous
outputs are a benefit as well. see if you can pick one up re-sale,
since they've been replaced by the 360 for awhile now....

My SIR TS-160 has worked fine since Jan 2004. I just replaced it with the
DirecTV HR10-250 HDTivo. My TS160 is up for sale if anyone is interested.
