Another classic rock vote here. Pink Floyd is my favourite band... Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Golden Earring, Deep Purple, The Who, The Doors, Steve Miller, Supertramp and many others are also great.

I can't vote because I like numerous choices on your list. I can tell you that I hate country, club, and church music.

Yea I'd Kinda figured RAP wasn't going to be a PoPular Decision..
Many people in this community are most likely older and like the older stuff back in there day..
but im only 18.. and i can't [-peep-]*ing stand RAP.. Because basically almost every dam song is basically just a remake of an Old Tune.
You can't really appreciate that kinda music.. THEY PLAY NO [-peep-]*ING Instruments.. hold a mic and RHYME crap...
i mean another thing... back me up on this if you agree.. ok
Back in those days.. i'll use PInk Floyd as an example.. ok these guys were not only Great they were [-peep-]*ng Awesome!
Now when you go out and say um.. I Think im gonna go to best buy and pick up DARK SIDE OF THE MOON (incredible album) you didn't buy that daam album for 1 stupid hit.. # 1 you got an excellent album, #2 you have more then one great hit.. i mean you can listen to the whole dam album without saying oh man this song blows!..
these days' your basically paying 16--19.99$ on an Album (i wouldn't even call it that) that has 1 song.. which is rediculous... and then it takes another 3-4 yrs to release another song!... or an ALBUM..with that one decent song.. i mean that's just rediculous
And people get mad @ kazaa and [-peep-].. this is the reason that [-peep-] is around... so people don't gotta pay [-peep-]*ing 20$ to hear one decent song ..
Really? Because I see that 41 percent of the people who voted believe religion is a joke. Which happens to be the majority. But, to answer your pitiful question, I do not follow the majority.
i have ecletic tastes in music, everything from tori amos to nine inch nails. i really love garbage, nin, tori amos (earlier stuff), luscious jackson, seal, sinead o'connor, the corrs, u2 and poe. but my favorite group/music is that of enigma.

I like alot of music, from classical to metal. My main listening tastes fall into goth/industrial/ebm, which I'll toss into "club", though some is more classic rock or synth pop than club.
I'm an all arounder. Add video game music if you can!

There is one particular song I like from them, it's "Why don't you talk to me".
I feel it has some tune in it that is deep... and the smooth drum play is nice as well.

Classic Rock/Heavy Metal, I put my vote on the metal just because I am listening to Metallica right now and though they are not exactly 'heavy' all the time, they are more metal than classic rock.
Just because I like AMD or Intel more at a time because of one product compared to another, does not make me a fan boy, it makes me a person who is able to make a descision for myself.
Are you sure that is the correct title and that it isn't 'Keep Talking'? I couldn't find that song on CDDB and I don't have it in my list.
I listened Keep Talking and the line Why don't you talk to me is indeed in there.
But yes that is a very very beautifull song.

Lets have some Death Metal, Gothic Rock, Metal, Heavy Metal, Black Metal, Industrial Metal. Marilyn Manson, Type O Negative, Metallica, Rammstein, Mudvayne, Incubus, Cradle Of Filth, Nirvana, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Ozzy Ozbourne, Pearl Jam & Tenacious D. In no particular order.
Yes it might've been that, since I forgot what was written on the jewel case when I read it. My dad's a great rock fan of the past bands, so he has lots of Pink Floyd, Santana, etc.

Now now, I disagree.
As I said I'm an All arounder, and I look for particular original, or thought provoking songs, especially if they have tunes with very good music, such as the Keep Talking by Pink Floyd (the note play is nice, exhibits a despair feel, and some others I can only feel but cannot explain). And so for rap, I can tell you I've become an Eminem fan since his latest album, as his songs truly speak out more.
I love his Lose Yourself song, very very provoking for people who need hope. Speaking out telling people to reach for their life goals and to believe in it as they can do it if they believe.
Very few rap songs stand out, and so I have a very small list of them. Sometimes I might like one because it's funny, like Get Out the Way/Move by Ludacris. Too funny!
I also listen to the weird Classic-techno music remixed by the group Bond. You guys should try em out, 4 girls playing remixes of classic music into modern instruments, very very nice. The song Victory is one I can recommend.
