I would just like to know if there is any software that can make an .iso file from files on a hdd. I guess like compiling an iso image is what I want without burning anything to disk.

I have alcohol 120 and what I want to try out is to put all my music and other files into nice 4.7gb iso or any other image format like mdf so that I can mount the image on a drive and if I need to back stuff up its only a double click away.

I think this might end up being as much of a hassle to look through drives, but I don’t like the normal way of looking through folders and folders and sub folders to have my stuff nice and neatly organized on my pc.
