I live in the South Jersey area and taped the show Lost last night on
my SA8000HD box. When I watched it, the first 15 minutes of the show
was just continuous audio problems. Now I've had audio trouble with
my SA8000HD before but not like this.....did anyone in this area have
the same issue watching Lost in HD last night? ...or was it most
likely my box?

Yeah I had the same problem here in SE PA. Just watched in on SD
channel until it cleared up.

Someone on AVSforums mentioned an audio problem with loast with an SA8300HD box.

Thanks...I'm very close to ditching HD Cable and going
satellite....just wish the DVR prices were lower.
