Everytime I save a picture from the internet into one of my picture folders,
the pic/preview always comes up as unavailable so i can never see it.
Anybody know what I should do? thanks.

How are you saving the pictures? It almost sounds like you are saving a
shortcut to the image (the one on the web page) instead of an actual image
file.

OR the image is saving successfully on your hard drive but it is of a
format that does not generate a preview. Not much you can do about this
except use a viewer that can handle the saved file type.

And is that option still there for you? It should be.

If not, this may be residual damage from the virus. If that is the case,
you'll need to repair your existing XP setup.
Run a repair install.

How to Perform an In-Place Upgrade (Reinstallation) of Windows XP

NOTE: The above article applies to retail CD or a generic OEM CD. If your
Windows came preinstalled and your recovery media has been customized by
the manufacturer, check your system manual for restore/repair options and
for directions.
