Is this ram fast?

Is this good for gaming? I needed something more powerful than value ram but not too expensive, so I think this was good, any suggestions: OCZ (OCZ2SOE8002GK) DDR2 PC2-6400 2GB kit (2x1024) Dual channel Special Ops Edition 800MHz.

Motherboard: ASUS A8M2N-LA
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 5200+
Video Card: BFG GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB
Power Supply: 400 Watt Antec
