8800GTX 6-pin power connector

so.. the 8800gtx has 2 6-pin pci-e power connectors, right?

so, a power supply such as this thermaltake toughpower 750, with only 2 6-pin power connectors for sli, will only be able to power a single card?

and i may have to find a psu made for quad-sli?

can anyone shed some light on this for me, i'm lost :oops:

I have OCZ 700W GameXTream...it is SLI capable...isnt it?

Upgrade to the thermaltake toughpower 850watt psu and you'll be able to run two 8800gtx's no probleml

I have this power supply, Thermaltake 700, it has three connectors and I have no problems in SLI.

thanks mpilchfamily, perusing the forum, you always seem to pop up with the good stuff. i almost feel like i just got saved by batman :lol: 

the 8800 gtx is a beast, and requires you feed it appropriately, i suppose.
