Um,,, I did'nt know where to put this so i put in general, anyone know anything about booting xp from a flash drive i read some where that it was possiable but then somone told me it was'nt. if thier is such a thing would it be extremly hard to do or would it be like booting linux or mac??

As long as your bios supports booting from a flash drive it should work in theory; I don't believe MS has any restriction on flash drive installations. However, it will be slow running, and will kill the flash drive in short order. Honestly I can't see the point of wanting to do this other than the perceived "kewl" factor.

I dunno about Windows, but I've seen people boot Linux DSL (Damn Small Linux, only 50mb) off of a flash device. As long as your bios support it and you have the right file download it should all work fine.
